Like anybody else I look forward with hope towards a new government. It's too early to say anything at this juncture.
I hope this new change brings peace, joy, and development. We had enough of corruption, communal riots, and scams. Please please please, we are general people, don't break our hope only for votes. Good Luck Modi Sarkaar!

Modi Sarkar will definitely change the age old set patterns practiced by the corrupt Congress Government. He has seen why a so called oldest Party was kicked off. And more than anything else he has realised the pulse of the people who are really the destiny makers of the nation.
With all the above factors taking in to consideration Modi Sarkar will give us all a Welfare government.

This is a very good question indeed. Actually this means nothing. Everything does not depend on central government. If people maintain calm and do not quarrel on every small issue, there will be peace and no communal riots. There are some controversial issue like Kashmir status, Ayodhya Mosque / temple issue, uniform personal law. If the new goverment gets too enthusiastic in such issues, there may be disturbance of peace and communal riots.

Now the question of corruption. Basic cause of corruption is election system. We have seen that astronomical amount has been spent on election campaign. The candidates have won after spending crores of rupees in elections. Smaller parties could not compete in such heavy expenditure and they lost.

The MPs and parties who have spent crores of rupees in election cannot be honest. The money spent by them in elections is an investment just like investment in business. They have to recover this amount with some profit. They can do so only by way of indulgence in corruption. Whether congress or BJP, there is no difference. Every five years people just change the ruling party and everything else remains the same. There can be no end of corruption till elections are cheap.

It's the inability of the election commission that failed to make the elections cheap. As early as 1957 during the second general elections of India, the first Election Commissioner of India, Sukumar Sen has shown how the election expenditure can be drastically reduced.
