 That's really shocking that people still have such thinking.. Its sad that people still have such mentality. 

Yes, I too missed the link. By nature we the Indians are hypocrites. We talk one thing and do another. We launch space vehicles on one side and destroy the fetus if found the child is a female child.

Somebody said rightly, "Hypocricy, thy name is India. "

People should go according to rules of the land otherwise be prepared to face the consequences. People like these should be banned from all public facilities. 

I woulda like to see if an act comes up in this regard. Such people are the black sheep of the society.

Some problem with my PC, I cannot open the link, keep getting an error each time I try to open it. But after reading the summary in Sunil's post, it is quite clear that the people who are opposing the role of women as the head of family seriously need to get their heads examined. Even in the households where a male is the head of family, it is really the woman who actually keeps the household organised and is responsible for all the things that the family needs and does, including budget. So what is the harm in recognising that role officially?

Those who refuse to accept the lofty role of woman in the family are the MCPs. Their level of thinking is narrow and they are fit to live in the caveman's age.

I believe in gender equality. Head of family should be eldest member in a family or one that decided by concerned family. 

Still better. However, "The Head" role falls in the lap of  the Womn.
