The fact is that this theory of Avatars is all bull. It is a local phenomena and should be taken with a pinch of salt.

One thing for sure, no one cannot explain why religion is as one could say it is bull and the other could say it is bear, but belief continues despite pretenders.

I feel that every religion has a different set of fables and myths. It is not prudent to mix up faiths of different religions.  This will create very funny or ugly situation.

One thing for sure, in Islam there is no cast system but it is there with Islam of India, as one of my classmate told me that there three classes of Muslims in India such as Sheikh and other, so in a way, it is similar to Hinduism where due to age old manusmriti, though I never read it, class is there, some similar ritual practices such as fasting is there with both religion. Famous Odia poet, Bhakta Salbega, who wrote wonderful devotional songs in 18 th century by looking at idol of Lord Jagannath of Puri, who is entirely black in color and without hand and legs, as Salbega the Muslim considers him his Lord and wrote many beautiful devotional odia songs of Lord Jagannath. So in a way, there are some humans who correlate personally with two religions.

There is no equality in any religious community. But the caste system in Hindu religion is most rigid and not comparable to others. Also when some communities live together in a geographical area, they acquire some traits and traditions of other also. Hence there is dowry system in Muslims also.  But we need not correlate scriptures of different religions unless these have some common link. Buddha, Jain and Sikh emerged from Hindu sanatan and hence some common links can be found. But Islam and Christianity are totally different from Hindu. so it is futile to look for avatar in Muslim and prophet in Hindu religion. However I remember that some eminent Muslim preacher once remarked that Rama and Krishna could or could not  be prophets. He could no say with certainty. Muhammad was last prophet but there wee many prophets before him.

As regards Hindu avatars,  We know all except Kalki who is in future. Let some eminent and qualified Hindu scholar like Shankaracharya comment on this.
