There needs be no reservation either on caste or economic status.  There should be free and uniform education for all. No reservation in jobs.

 This would be a more ideal solution. A merit in any field irrespective of the cast should be honored and recognized. Nothing more.

There used to be a merit com means scholarship that used to help those students who were poor but hard working and did well in their studies.If not misused I feel that government should have something like that rather than give out reservations based on caste or creed ..What the young fellow is doing is help the political party that is instigating him so that they get mileage out of it and later leave him high and dry ..

The reservation is nothing but tool of creating vote bank. The government should scrap all reservations immidiately. We are suffering badly for the mistake done (that should have stayed for 5 years) by our law makers and spreading like wild fire. Now any one can blackmail goverments in mobocracy.

That's the exact word you used "MObocracy " Wisdom lies in scrapping and dragging out RESERVATIONS out of the Picture of Democracy. We had enough, no more should be tolerated.

I think all type of reservation should be abolished in India. Education should be provided on equal basis to all Indian citizens, and shops of education (private institutes) should be controlled so that poor can also get proper education from there. The standard of all the government institutes be maintained so that everyone will be benefited from that. I think doing all this India will become more powerful country.

There need not be any doubt. India without Reservations can shot ahead in the path of development.

I agree with you. Merit should be the only criteria for help from the government. There should not be any reservations on caste basis.

By giving reservation on the basis of caste, we are accepting the caste distinction of upper caste and lower caste. At the same time we boast that all humans are equal. Let the government help the poor who deserve it. But instead, they introduce caste and separate everyone from one another. And today it has become a trend to claim that one belongs to a lower caste, just for enjoying some undeserved benefits…. It’s like catching fish without wetting the hands.
