Very rightly said! Every individual has one's own way to deal with his/her life. One may make resolution and follow it religiously but on the other hand another person can break his/her resolution while one may not make any resolution deliberately. So, no one should be made accountable regarding making or breaking New Year Resolution. It's better to leave it on an individual how to begin the journey of a New Year.

I would term. " New Year Resolution " as a fad. Resolution is that which stays with you rain or shine. For this there is no need to wait until the arrival of New year.
