It's more than 600 persons opted for teaching and not 6000. @rambabu, I am sure, by mistake you have added an extra zero and that mars the meaning of the sentence.

Sure. It's entirely my Mistake. Out of 6000 people in the village more than 600 people opted for Teaching profession.

Thanks for the correction.

thanks for sharing this article.. It's good to know that so many parents are interested in getting their children in teaching profession, otherwise now a days every parents want their child to be either doctor or engineer.

At present teaching is not respectable job like earlier days. it is surprising that people of this village prefer teaching job. Salary of teacher in private school are less than fourth grade office assistant of Government offices.

True. Despite the fact that a Teacher profession is not lucrative, it's really amazing to see the attitude of the Parents in this village

Its good to hear that villages also loves learning, concentrating on future teachers. It is one way encouraging education.

This shows how the Villagers love the profession of a Teacher.

Here one should also laud the efforts of Swami Shivananda who dedicated himself to opening schools, teachers training center that provided free food to trainee teachers etc...it is this effort from him and few other people as dedicated as him that the village has realised the importance of education.

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

A good information. I was not aware of Swami Shivananda's role in letting know about the Importance of Education/.

This is precisely why you should develop the habit of going through the article link which you post here, not the first time this has happened where you don't know what the article has in its content..
