I have not started seeking for contributions from writers yet but I am thinking about to start accepting contributions very soon.

OK. let me know when you start accepting contributions.

@Rambabu,

You can ask furthur questions through my website and when I will start accepting, I will update my website regarding it.

Now, I think we should stick to the topic only.

@Usha Manohar,

Sorry for diverting from the topic but now we will stick to it.

It depends on the individual and his priorities and preferences...Freelancing gives you more room to choose and work at your convenience and time. On the other hand journalism would be like a demanding competitive job. Both can give you sense of achievement and satisfaction. like Usha mentioned, adventurous reporting and journalism will suit one more if it is their passion.

I am open to experience what life's mystery bag holds for me

I prefer to do Freelancing those jobs which are located in my City. Because, I am working for a couple of Publishing agencies, First, they specify the type of Job over Phone. I finish the assigned work within the agreed time. They come to my residence, pickup the finished work, pay me on the Spot.

 In view of the above condition, I prefer works, located in my city. Of Course Boddunan is there.

I am in a regular job, and trying to do something extra in my free time.  For this I have joined few websites like boddunan. I have learned much from these and also trying to earn having own website. My website link is:

Having a regular job and doing something in your free time , is not a bad idea. It means, you have the freedom to do an extra job and earn an extra Buck , without hampering your regular Job.

When I was in a job, I used to do Freelancing. My Officer was kind enough to allow me to work on Freelancing jobs, even in Office hours. This may not be possible for all, especially in Government jobs.Perhaps I am lucky. Now after I took my Voluntary retirement, I  took up a few Freelancing jobs.

Selection of any job depends on natural talent or aptitude and qualification. Journalism and free lance writing are bet jobs for those who have good writing skills.

I would prefer free lancing

it is an economic decision. If finances are secure then one can go for freelancing otherwise a regular job is a must.
