In my opinion, it is better to lead than follow. All leaders of today were once followers. There are traits to be a leader. Some individuals have Leadership skills.

leadership s the ability to get others conform to their way of thinking

Real leaders are respected. They are trusted They are honest.

Take for example our own PM, Narendra Modi. he leads from the front. Modi is a visionary. He always thinks of ways and means to make India as one of the most developed countries in the world.

Just imagine what would happen if everybody is a leader with no followers ...

A leader should be emotionally stable. He should realize the gravity of his responsibilities and be able to gain the trust of those working under him.Great organizational skills go a long way in defining a leader.

Being a follower doesn't necessarily mean being inferior. Of course a follower can work his way to the top by inculcating leadership qualities.

A leadership also needs be a good follower.  You may bea leader but in area where you lag specialization, you accept lead of others. Moreover there is a hierarchy in leadership. There are top leaders, small leaders, national leaders, state level and district level leaders.

Of course, Any Political Party's success or failure depends on the efficiency or lack of efficiency of the Followers..

One who works with dedication will emerge as the Leader

Modi was jut a Pracharak in RSS, The Senior RSS leader Lakshmanrao Inamdar had profound influence on Modi..  Additionally the the then PM Atal Bihari Bajpayi  polished Modi's credentials as the first RSS Pracharak turned  PM.

Very true, a leader should have the capacity to learn and listen and follow when there is need to do so , one cannot be rigid in any capacity..

The real leaders are informal leaders who are looked upon by followers without ekections. Formal leaders are generally positional leaders due to positions they hold in organisations. When positions go their leadership also goes. Large number of persons like to be followers. Leadership is  full of responsibilities.

The amusing thing about Modi bhakts is that they can link anything to Modi. And I do mean anything.

Why's the weather so good- Modi did it

Why is India winning matches- Acche din agaye

Dude you should seriously apply for the advertising department of BJP. At least we won't have to hear the modi chant on this forum.
