Of course Mukesh or Md. Rafi contributed a lot  to the Music field. But their contribution did not change the face of Indian Cinema. For example see Viswanath. He is a well known director an excellent Screen play writer. Above all he himself an expert in Karnataka Music.

All these aspects contributed to the Indian Cinema

Sachin doesn't have his name on the Lord's honorary board while most famous players do. Does that mean he didn't contribute towards Cricket.???

You should think twice (preferably thrice) before inflicting your comical views on the world. Or may be take a second opinion before posting.

Actually, he writes but never ever tries to think that his reply is indeed meaningful or not. It has become his habit to contradict and if we start to follow his footsteps then we cannot ever have a meaningful discussion rather every thread will make no impact on us.

Dadasaheb Phalke Award is presented to those who  contribute to the growth and development of Indian Cinema.

Rafi, Mukesh and Kishore are popular  singers. DadaSaheb himself produced India's first full length  feature film in 1913

Hardly contributes to the discussion except give you points. But then you have never cared about that ..

So, @rambabu you want to say that the legendary singers did not contribute to the world of cinema. I must applaud your observation. According to your opinion the great singers like Lata, Asha, Manna Dey, Bhupen Hazarika did not contribute to the growth of Indian cinema then their award should be taken away. But, if you say they contributed then Mukesh, Rafi and Kishore kumar too contributed and you cannot deny it. Your logic is so baseless.

Then, why these singers and Musicians did not get Dadasaheb Phalke Award

See the list of Dadasaheb Phalke Award winners. It's only then, you will know how baseless is your logic.

Do you work for charity, if not for Points ???

It is a well known fact that you work only for points and never for qualitative posts. But by questioning Shampa you are questioning her integrity since it is apparent that she contributes because she always has something worthwhile unlike you  who is only interested in grabbing points by hook or crook ..

@usha manohar as we love to exchange our views through forum, we cannot ignore the various threads on it. Thus, we have to tolerate such illogical statements because @rambabu believes in commenting without understanding the main point of discussion.
