Points for commenting articles is not yet implemented and is underway. However, we are running Commenter of the Month award for which the best commenter (who posts good quality comments and supports/encourage the users by giving the right feedback) will get the award of 500 cash credits. The contest is started already and ends on August 31.
And regarding the usage, we will use them in the future for the purpose of ranking the users, rewarding the deserved users etc. So please continue whatever you are doing now and you will be rewarded if you contribute well.
