When our present home minister Mr.P.Chidambaram was the finance minister (197-1998) 10.000 crores Indian Currency were printed abroad !!!Then what is the security of our currency?

    I think today duplicate and original notes are mixed and we running both type notes.

    If the notes are printed abroad under government arrangement, we must feel assured that all precautions have been taken. This is not a matter of concern. The printing of fake currency notes either in India or abroad would be a matter of concern.

    But it should be checked because in midst of scams and scandals our authorities have not enough time to check all these.

    I was taught that currency is printed in Security press in India only.Now it has to be modified!!
