    Postmortem determines cause of death. This is important in forensic science. But nobody will take any useful part from the body unless donated.

    Post-Mortem report is basically used by the police. It helps them to catch criminals with ease. Post Mortem is a done by foreignsic doctors who cut the parts of body and organ and identify the time, cause and place of death.

    gulshan ji you are correct no one will take the body parts unless it is donated. post-mortem is done by cutting the body and they will take each parts and do some chemical test and find the cause of death.
