I have come across this famous quote made by Sir Ralph Waldo Emerson. But the question is how do we differentiate a good indiagnation from a bad one?

Indignation is inevitable when you are given an unfair treatment. Good or bad indignation is the way you express your feelings. If you behave very rudely and virtually fight, this is bad. If you firmly but politely react to the feeling of indignation, this is good.

A good indignation is normally displayed when one feels being terribly wronged. And in the face of it tries draw on all his or her powers to defend.
