    In most of the civilized the concept of jail is undergoing a very important change as it is comsidered to be more of a reformatory.Unfortunately the prisoners in our jails hardly find any difference in the situations as most of our jails encourage criminal activities.

    I too agree that hi-tech jail is not a proper idea..Prisoner will now enjoy their stay in jails as well as punishment.. :(

    Well done HCL..Rajan, It is not that prisoners will enjoy now..To say the truth conditions of jail are really bad according to me , well am not sure about it.

    In fact conditions are so horrible that a person who is sent to it being caught on the wrong side of law returns to become a hardened criminal!!!

    Ya that is true chinmoy i think this hi-tech jail can make them utilize all types of hi-tech equipment ..which ia definetely a negative point..already many prisoners from political background are found guilty in using Mobiles which is actually prohibited..

    similarly liquor and luxuries should not be allowed as they should feel it as punishment not a pleasure trip..

    That's exactly what I have been pointing to! I understand that some hardened and notorious criminal lead a royal life by bribing the jail officials! What a shame!
