How to easily make 100 characters while writing polls ?

I think now the minimum characters required for the description in polls is 100 characters. Today i came across a poll which showed the easy way to do that?Check the link below.

Trick is by using dots (...............) like this to fill characters?

    The Description section is provided to help us explain the poll better. In most of the polls, the poll question is re-written in the description section also. What is the point in that ?
