How to get Rid of smoker smoking near you? every day the normal people have to handle the smoker people in the road, they smoke freely. no one is there to stop him and a result we peoples are in dangers and have lost.

    I think that you need to move away from there. Its affecting you,so you yourself have to move from there. If you will tell them to go from there, they would either fight with you or would rather say to go away from there.

    Nobody can lawfully smoke in a public place. You may easily enforce this rule in closed space like restaurant, office and other such places by complaining to the responsible official. It will not be so easy in places like road, parks.

    It will suffice to first politely ask the offender to refrain from smoking in public place. If you are allegric to smoke, most smokers will gladly oblige you. There may be circumstances when you are helpless. Then, it is best that you withdraw yourself from the place.

    Smoking is weakness and a smoker cannot quit smoking easily. But this is his problem. But in most cases, smokers will cooperate and not smoke near you if you politely request. Smokers are also human beings and not less unsocial or humane than others.

    It is true if you request to smoker politely, he will respect you and either he will stop smoking or leave the place. So Be Polite!! Don't enforce!!

    It will not be worthwhile to complain to police for such petty matter. Leaving the place is better idea. You will generally feel inconvenience in banks, government offices, restaurants etc. Generally, the smokers will cooperate. The responsibility for enforcing smoking ban is on the manager of the establishment. You may complain to him if necessary.

    Generally smokers co-operate.Here in Kerala smoking in public place is banned and hence smokers move when police comes.

    Yes I too feel that the best way to deal with a smoker smoking near you to promptly request him to move away from you and if he doesn't then its a good idea to move away from him!!!
