Why points are not given when we start a new thread in forum?
in Q n A - Find answers to your questions
5 points are awarded if we reply a question in forum. But no points if we start a new discussion. Why is it so?
I think at least 1 point should be given. Then only, members will find interest in finding new topics and post them in forum to initiate a thread. Otherwise most of them will be busy only to answer the topics.

    Sandhya rani before for new thread there is 2 points then all started to post only new forums so points are not given from that time onwards.

    Sandhya, if you search through older forum threads you will find this topic to have been discussed over and over. Points were removed for creating new threads simply because it was misused by members and it flooded forums with useless topics and mere links to news which is not desirable.

    So I request you Sandhya before posting new thread on any topic, do a thorough search and only then post the thread. Recently most threads created by you have been already discussed here.
