For me 'NO' After all this is another day. I love my partner as usually, I do. I have never loved her lesser ever so, I can not do it any more. May be as a symbol you can purchase a gift for her or she for me but does it really matter? :P

I also do not consider valentine's day as festival but I feel happy to see happiness in others.

I do not thing that this would matter unless your partner is particular about this day. If both of you are not bothered about Valentine, this is insignificant.

I totally agree with whatever has already been stated.......but there is no harm in expressing your love on this particular day.......its like celebrating with the whole world.......

I do agree with you smriti, this was only in reference to the wasteful show business that it is becoming popular and giving it an altogether color that this great day is associated with. thanks for your contribution, I appreciate it.

WE can just celebrate by giving gift to the partner or planning some suprise and showing the love as we do for their birthday.

people will try to make money with whatever becomes popular....you can't stop that....we should maintain the decorum to make sure that we are not giving rise to anything which puts up a bad image to the celebration.....

Valentine day is only for to a wrong one.If you love your partner in a real manner. Then there is no need to show your love on Valentine day only.Every day is consider as valentine Day.
To me there is no difference .This day is like all other day.I love my wife as before.

You are absolutely right. This day becomes significant only if at least one of the partner is seriously concerned about it.
According to me, a valentine day can be celebrated not by giving a special gift on that day, but by spending some time together. Can go for an outing too.

We have never spend money on gifts on Valentine day. Even a nice rose presented with good heart can make that day pleasant. :)

Same here Sandhya, I too have never spent on cards and gifts especially for this day. We do not have to make it look like as if we love them on this particular day. I have many more occasions to show her that I love her. Why should it be symbolic, after all she knows it from the core of her heart. A smile full of love is enough to tell them about our feelings. Thanks for your contribution.
