Is it maintained well, do visitors go there and it is as beautifully built as other buildings in your city?

I do not know about Delhi's Akshardham because I have never been there but Gandhinagar's Akshardham is just too beautiful and magnificent!

Although, according to the topic shouldn't we be discussing about lesser known structures and not famous ones???

In Pune, Vishrambaug Wada, a beautiful structure built by the Peshwas right in the right of the city is a place worth visit.

It has very beautifully carved wooden pillars and windows.

This is in possession of Archaeology department. But the place is not developed as tourist or historic place. Only the local residents know.

Yes I can see the typical 'Peshwa shaily' of structure in this building. Now, how do they use this building for- Is it open to tourists?

Yes it is open for tourists daily and a part of it is used as a commercial outlet for selling a variety of products like dresses, bags purses, dry food items etc that are prepared by some local women's groups! The outer veranda is used by passersby and local vendors to take naps or relax during the afternoons when there is little or no business. This wada is exactly opposite a market called Tulsibaug on which I have written article here!!
