Now Govrnment has agreed to remove Englis paper. But the andidates are still unsatisfied. The issue is bad translation mechanically done with Google. This is not a big issue. Translation should be more appropriate with some human intervention.

The agitators want CSAT should be scrapped. I think ther is no justification in their demand.

Definitely it's a good suggestion. There is no dearth of translators in the country. The Government should employ good translators and end the impasse.

Recent reports about unrest concern the agitation in the Hindi belt to remove the English paper in the Civil Services Examination. English is an international language and it is foolish to argue that the IAS officers can be appointed without English knowledge. Can we do away with the test, as demanded, and if the Central Government gives in, what will happen to the South Indian candidates?

This is another way some people want to take the nation a few centuries backwards.....I feel that knowledge of English language is essnetial for all civil service examination and the governemnt shd not give in to such pressure tactics by some people who think only about themselves rather than think of nation as a whole !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I think English should be prime aim for detection of candidature of IAS, it is my personal thoughts of course.

There is no confusion on the issue, BJP blamed Congress and some other opposition parties for creating confusion for "political reasons.
