Yoga makes our body fit.  But Bhoga (consumption) is for making our life pleasant.  Yoga is painful whereas Bhoga is comforting.  If one indulges too much in Bhoga, he would lose health and ultrimately no bhoga also.  So one must maintain healthy balance between yoga and bhoga.

True. That's what the thread says. It says your health is in your own hands. Wisdom lies in striking a healthy balance between health and comforts and luxuries.

A yogi enjoys peaceful inner self and a bhogi put the outer world his preference. We can lead a happy life once we get to know how to keep a balance in yog and bhog.

Yes. That's the pivotal point point of the thread. We search for happiness all along our lives for Happiness, not knowing that Happiness is well within us. Many are under the impression a Bhogi who earns riches think that he can buy happiness with all the money he earned. But what he is unaware of the fact a Bhogi cannot buy happiness without that all important Peace of  mind which a Yogi has got in abundance.

Most of the time when we fed up with day to day life and at some point wish to escape materialism or bhog, we tend to seek happiness in outer world. The first step to make a balance is to start liking what we do. That can only bring inner happiness and you can be a bhogi being a yogi inside grinning.png

In this regard "Self Searching " helps. This helps in in finding the root cause of lack of peace of mind.

General tendency of mankind is to look for external pleasure. He is a bhogi. He conquers the outer world and enjoys the momentary pleasure. He craves more and more and ends his life unsatisfied. Whereas a yogi conquers his inner world end enjoys the infinite bliss. Extreme state of both will make life difficult. ‘Middle Way’ is the best option for a better life.

Very true middle way is the best as well as practical. Satisfying both outer needs and inner peace are important...

I agree. Best of Both the worlds is an ideal solution.

One becomes a yogi to better enjoy being a bhogi. Too much of bhogi forces him to become a yogi. Too much of yogi bores him to become a bhogi. So the cycle gores on.
