The narration actually deals with the main story with the rest containing additional myths and teachings. It clearly states: “what is found here may be found elsewhere but what is not found here cannot be found elsewhere.” Take a look at some untold and unknown stories from this great scripture…

The Mahabharat is one of the two major epics in Sanskrit of ancient India. It contains over one lakh couplets and is thrice as long as the Bible.

Very interesting snippets, and all these are mentioned in the unabridged version of Mahabharat ..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

I did not go through the unabridged version of Mahabharata. But even without that i could find these snippets very interesting.Of course some of them i heard only now.

These are very interesting. Indeed Mahabharata is a very interesting and rich epic.

Mahabharata stories are enchanting for both elders and children. They have the ability to grip the readers

Lets accept it the authors of Mahabharata and Ramayana were learned people. They may sound outdated to some today but if you try to go deeper they have messages worth following even today.

True. They were great sages and real seers with great vision beyond time. Who else could have the courage, other than Vyasa, to declare boldly in the beginning of the epic that “what is found here may be found elsewhere but what is not found here cannot be found elsewhere”.

It is time that is omnipresent ! Peter Brook made Mahabharat into a film and I had the opportunity of watching it..The interesting thing is that he has used actors belonging to different  races .So, initially your mind gets confused because of the stereotype images we have in our mind but on the whole it is a very interesting film

The complex diverse elements in the epic Mahabharata were depicted so vividly in the celluloid by Peter Brook, that i never felt any unrealistic shades in the Movie.

yes sir,  mahabharat is one of the greatest reality in the history of the world and till the evidence are there

Original Mhahbhart is in sanskrit, remember sanskrit is mother of all other languages. Many authors write Mahabharat in Hindi and in some new style. Narender kohli is also one of them.
