    I am not superstitious. I heard that cricketers will be more superstitious. It is all about belief. Hence there is no role to comment on one being superstitious.

    No doubt belief plays a very important role in our society but there is nothing wrong in questioning blind belief . Many villagers here believe in heating a ladle and pressing it down on their children when they are very mischeivous believing it wards off the spirits that have possessed their children..how can anyone condone this inhuman belief ? There are many such that harm the society and people

    Cities names have been changed by respective governments like Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc. Is it based on superstition. Could you please anyone clarify on this?

    There is absolutely no superstition attached to changing the names of the cities since they are reverting back to their original names..Madras became Chennai, Bangalore became Bengaluru, Calcutta to Kolkotta, Bombay to Mumbai.How can there be any superstition in that ?
