Let us welcome India's independent policy on Iran. The west is threatening with sanctions for relation with Iran. But India is exploring possibilities of opportunities with Iran. This is a welcome departure from past when India was dancing to the tune of west.

India is peace loving country. Whatever be the circumstance, India will never choose to go against any nation untill the situation goes too adverse. Hopefully this deal will be the advantageous for India.
Any foreign policy of a nation should be based on what it perceives as its supreme interest. In the comity of nations all are dependent on one another. We must have a policy which protects this supreme interest.
So far so good but let us see if we can stick to our stand. We are good at beating retreat and coming back from our policies so suddenly, giving in to west's eyebrow.
