B.S.P. President and U.P. chief minister has advised people to keep away from babas and saints. She commented that one baba aspires to be in politics but he does not know that physical exercise cannot remove property. Indeed her advice is very apt. The babas and sadhus are misguiding people. She has shown courage in condemning the so called Babas and Saints despite religious orthodoxy prevalent. Indeed, she is the best leader. She should be next P.M. Members- Pl give your opinion.

    For becoming Prime minister she should have national level party but her party is limited to some state and she can not become India prime minister atleast for next election.
    And what ever she is saying about Babas is definitely true but people of India will never change

    With all due respect to your thoughts I am not very enthused by the prospect of Ms. Mayavati becoming prime minister in future.She is trying to model herself on these saints and babas whom she has been criticising. Like these saints and babas she too is suffering from megalomania!

    I think Mayavati will not be next PM. I think Politics is mixed and currepted already so people not able to decide who is right and who is wrong.

    So We all need to invoke and Cangres is doing well job and Manmohan singh is best choice so we only need to keep it up nothing else.

    We should wait for some times until BJP got good leader like Atal bihari bajpayee.

    Mayavati has more following in the nation than the previous Non BJP and NON Congress Prime Ministers, namely Deve Godwa and Inder Kumar Gujaral. she is still young enough and has more administrative experience than other aspirants. Her claim will be strengthened if both congress and BJP are humbled. What she said about Baba and Sadhus was before a big crowd. In spite of peoples' fascination for Babas, she spoke against them. This shows how different she is from congress, BJP, Samajvadi leaders who go to temples and shrines as well as these Babas either to cheat the people or because they are themselves in grip of superstitious beliefs and under spell of these Babas.

    Now a Maharashtrian MP has also advised the politicians to shun the SAINTS AND BABAS. However the politicians go to all sort of religious places and Babas owing to their own dark faiths and also to impress the illiterate people for getting their votes.

    Mayawathiji may praise gulshan for initiating this topic. In the prime ministers Chair ms. Mayawati - I cant agree with that at all. Since She is not the leader a national party or She can't represent the whole country.
    The Babas and swamy's must be banned from India so that our image in western countries get better.

    Shalu Joseph- In the previous United front Governments, Deva Gowda and I.K. Gujaral were not national leaders and had much less popularity than mayavati. So, she may become prime minister. This is just a possibility and we cannot speculate.
    We do not need to ban Babas and Swamis to please the western powers. The west suffer from many similar malpractices and silly notions. They also believe in miracles, black magic and many superstitions. We need to save our people from babas because we want to clean our country. There is no reason why we suffer from inferiority complex in relation to west, who believe that a virgin can give birth to a child and a prophet can be alive third day after execution.

    I think she is not honest in her words.To keep away from Babas and saints is good.But Mayavati , a Dalit leader acts like a rich man by spending huge amount from public fund for statue eruction , accepting garlands of crores etc.

    Mayavati is correctly and honestly advising people to remain aloof from babas. Just yesterday, some baba type misguided some woman that he could double the gold. Thus, he cheated her of her entire gold ornaments. Mayavati also stopped lottery business when she became C.M. This helped many poor families from cheating in lotteries. She does not live lavishly. The money collected goes to party funds. Of course, she has constructed many statues of Dalit leaders, But this was necessary as already over so many years, we have everywhere statues of Gandhi Nehru family. Mayavati will definitely stop making more statues within a year or so
