I think the main reason is the lack of good leadership in the party. If you have a good leader and everyone has the belief, trust in him, this kind of situations will never happen like everyone is fighting for the top seat.

When opportunity is in front of you, don't hesitate to catch it. It will never come to you again. - Maverick

You are right Maverick,

It appears to be a fight for the chair of power. BJP was analyzing the reasons for their defeat and at the same time the 'Jinna' episode emerged as fuel to fire.

The BJP is now like Congress. They are aimless and every body is trying for his own personal benefit.

Good leader can lead the group and guide them. This is lacking in BJP.

Thanks 'n' Regards,
Deepti.
The main problem in BJP and many other parties is that they have no true inner democracy. If political parties have no inner democracy, there can be no real democracy.

* BJP is a Religious party, all Indians are not belongings from one community.
* Lack of Trust the leadership.

* Co-operation is not extending from all communities.

* Leadership is not in systematic.

* Not supposed to involve the VHP& RSS in politics.

" Not catching the public pulse".
K.S.S. Babu- You have briefly explained that BJP is a communal party. However, BJP is an important political party apart from Congress. It is for voters to select a party of their choice. But the democratic system can work properly if the political parties have inner party democracy.

Thanks 'gulshan kumar ajmani' for reopening this 7 month old thread that has to be discussed upon.

Because without a strong opposition no government can function flawlessly and in addition we should always have the second line of political power to run the country in case the ruling government falls down.

Thanks indeed... :)

I agree Harish. The people must have an alternative when one party or group does not give satisfactory results. The political parties participating in elections should have inner party democracy. Election commission as well as the major political parties must ensure this.
