    Yes! He was not even originally selected and was there on a wild card! He practiced with borrowed guns yet nearly made it! It all underlines the need to spot talents at the grassroots and train them for big events. It's a big ask in India. Not at all surprising that medal tally looks so awfully short of character!

    In the case of Vijay Kumar also, only a few people were in the stadium to watch it. So, a little supporters. Actually, no one was interested in him. After winning a medal also, only a few came to congratulate him. He got an Indian flag in his hand after a long wait. Really surprising!!!!
    I think, no one expected his victory though he was the gold medal winner of common wealth games
