The union government plans to credit subsidy direct to beneficiary's account instead of giving this in kind throug suppliers of essential commodities in Public distribution system.

How far will this be effective. Is this not liable to be misused by spending on liqueur and unessential items instead of for the intended purpose ?

    It was contemplated once , It was opposed even by the ruling party members. If they implement it , the government will be in trouble
