    A calendar has no purpose except to manage our affairs well. The Christian calendar is well performing function and we need no other calendar. Various religious communities have their own calendars for their purposes. If some one has use for Mayan calendar, this may be okay for him.

    After reading through the link, I really do not understand if they are being serious or just funny!! :laugh: Anyway, if they really do have it on sale, I would like to have the stone version, it would look good in my balcony among the plants! :laugh: But I wonder if I might be able to afford it!! :blink:

    I think it just represents their own culture and tradition ...I too wouldnt mind the stone cversion since it looks beautiful and am sure I cannot afford it as well LOL :cheer:
