Here is link that says that Congress and BJP are same so far as dynastic politics goes.

However there is hardly any dynastic politics in BJP. The allegation of imperfect internal democracy may be correct but this is not same as dynastic politics as in Congress, Samajvadi party, RJD, DMK etc. The BJP and Left parties alone are beyond dynastic politics Others are dynastic or one man or one woman parties.

Yes, I do believe that BJP's politics are not dynastic.
So far BJP is yet to find its own feet , although they have ruled the nation...So there is no dynasty to talk about unlike Congress where almost all the leaders children enjoying special previleges ...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

India is the democratic country which has thousands of parties (state and national). I do not feel that no party is having any difference or unique. All are well versed in corruption. The only difference among the parties is their names.

Born to express, not to impress.

It's a very intelligent piece of comment. Promotion of families and their worthless daughters, daughters-in-law, sons, sons-in-laws and so on and on is a typical Indian phenomenon cutting across all political parties! It is worth remembering here that Atal Bhihari Vajpayee who is a bachelor had problems with his foster son-in-law! And about Indian Left parties I know better!!

B) Yes BJP and Left party are not one man show. But goal of all parties in one i.e. power.

You are right,Anil! The Left leaders might not have groomed their sons and daughters but are caught in far worse misdemeanor of distributing the favors to their own chosen few only. Even late Jyoti Basu could not avoid this temptation!!!

Please discuss only the topic in the thread. corruption is not topic of this thread. This is about dynastic politics. The link in the first post stated that Congress and BJP both are dynastic. I commented that BJP may not have perfect internal democracy but there is no dynastic politics as in Congress.

Congress and BJP are alike. If congress is the ruling party of the country, BJP will be the opposition party and vice-versa.

As long as the heir is well versed and capable of being a good leader there is no problem.I feel that although Indira gandhi was autocratic , she still was better than the present day lot of leaders....However, now things seem so bad , all that you feel is disillusion !

I am not personally against talent blossoming irrespective of any such consideration but what is the reality. In this respect I would like to overrule any objection to raising corruption in this thread . Dynastic politics and corruption are two sides of the same coin! That is the precise the reason that one would find a very minuscule percentage of such rulers in the world today who are dynastically so! It is non-existent in the progressive, developed world.
