The authorities do have certain limits. I think they have crossed their limits in this issue. This is not a way to treat school students though they did a mistake. Action should be taken against this tyrant authority.

I would say that this is unhuman behaviour. Parents should file case against them.

Already one of the parents have filed the case. Police have not taken action till now saying that they would like to enquire other students before enquiring the teacher.

Yesterday I read a similar report about a child being chained and paraded round the school for coming late, I fail to understand how any teacher can think of doing this? If this was done with their own children how would they react to it?

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Here too in AP, Teachers are unleashing the reign of terror in the schools. And yet there are another kind of teachers, raping their girl students. I think we should forget that old saying, "Gurudevo Bhavaha"

I dont think students are criminal to be chained. All these people should be punished.
If any teacher comes late will they allow the students to give such punishment to the teacher?

I have a feeling that because of our repressive society people have a lot of pent up anger and frustration and at times they let go of their feelings for the smallest reasons

This deed of teacher is stigma on this profession. I read in one school teacher cut the hairs of girls because they didn't make two pony tails.

I feel this is displacement, one of the defence mechanism in which they show the anger on one but the real anger is on somebody else.
This is truly horrific! Such beastly practices go on in the name of education. I know such practices are more common in most parts of the country but these receive very little attention from people who matter in our country.
