Samajvadi Party may not support Food Bill just because of Durga shakti, IAS getting support from Congress in matter of her suspension.

Is this not childish? Should a political party debate and vote a bill on merits or on extraneous issue like suspension of an officer?

    It is clear that mining mafia got her suspended. She benefited the state government at the cost of the mafia. They were expecting that she would 'improve' and cooperate with them after some 'experience' but when they saw that 'therewere no chance of improvement', they got rid of her'.

    SP says why Sonia has not intervened when there were lot of cases where IAS were thrown out of their offices. Yesterday Akhilesh said, Durga lacked 'Administrative Acumen.' My feeling is its a clear cut case of finding one way or other to stall the parliament sessions and thereby Food security bill.

    suspension is technically not a punishment. There is no doubt that the lady officer will be reinstated. But I don't think that voters will be attracted this way. Even Waqf has asked govt to revoke suspension. This has clearly proved that Muslims are not happy with her suspension. Only sand mafia is happy with her suspension.

    Nothing happens on its own. There must be a reason and the reason is the unholy nexus between the ruling party and the vested interests. May be sand mafia in this case. In the absence of such nexus, the obvious reason is to stall the proceedings of the parliament.

    As the case happened to be related near to my hometown, I know for sure the lady officer was no way involved in the case she has been suspended for.

    As the case happened to be related near to my hometown, I know for sure the lady officer was no way involved in the case she has been suspended for.


    It's a clearcut case of framing up. The brave lady dared the corruptive practices of the government.

    Give and take is style of Mulayam Singh"s politics. He is giving support to UPA government without demand of UPA. He wants relax in case against him and his family of wealth more than income. Now he wants to prove that how is powerful in Indian politics. He will later or sooner support food bill.

    Very true.If a proper Sop is given, Mulayam will issue a statement, " Food security bill is the most essential bill and as a true believer in the democratic system, I will support this move. People of similar thinking should follow me. Otherwise history will not pardon us."blah.... blah....
