Apparently the Bar Councli has served a notice to AP Singh asking him for a response .. It is good to know that a serious view has been taken , otherwise men like him would think that they could get away with anything !

Its good that some action has been initiated but since has made this outrageous statement in public view, he should be suspended from practicing his profession for at least a month or so.

The secretary of DBC's statement "Singh's statement was not only against the moral and professional ethics but also damaged the reputation of the legal profession." is very true and therefore he should be severely punished.

Many believe that it was an act of frustration on losing his case, which is quite ridiculous since he was only doing his job of defending the criminals as is required by law, with full knowledge that they had committed the heinous crime. And yet he had the audacity to speak such things! Which really proves his sick attitude!

Apart from some people saying that he needs psychological treatment, he should also be taught professional ethics that are required in the respective fields. I had even pointed that out earlier that there was no point in gettnig personal, which he did. Even the best of the lawyers couldn't have saved those four guys.

He has openly accused the judge of being partial and having compromised on his judgment which is a serious charge and not somethig that should not be taken lightly since it makes ordinary people lose faith in the judiciary system. Other than that talking about killing , even if it is his own daughter is not something that should be taken lightly...

In such a case, will the judge take any action on his own. That's a technical question and I am not sure how the judge will act. But I don't think the lawyer had any reason to be so hyper. After all, pronouncing the judgement was just a formality.

The judge could take action on the spot. But he chose to ignore. Now it is too late to take action for contempt of court. The advocate's behavior is being criticized. The Bar council is also thinking of cancelling his licence.

Why is it late? There are three months for any party to appeal in a high court. Does‘t the same apply in this case too? I will really like to see what action does the Bar Council take now.

I think contempt of court is an action taken by concerned judge immediately, since the judge let it go so no more action against lawyer but bar council can still take action against him.

Next day he said that if my daughter spend time with boy friends in night I will burn her. Who give him right to burn his daughters. He also added other parents also follow me.

In that case, that guy seriously needs some psychological treatment. He is openly saying all those things....It's the first time I am hearing a lawyer say that.

No psychological treatment, he should be send to Afganistan.

I am pretty much amused after reading your rocking response. What's there in Afghanistan? You mean you need to send him to Taliban?

Yes he deserve it, he is not fit for Indian society.

Yes you are right, in fact he is not fit for any society and if you think he should be send to Afghanistan to join Taliban, I refuse to accept them as part of the civilized society.

Views of Taliban like Mr. Singh. Taliban don't like if any female talk with other males of her family.

I too feel that one can either win or lose and in this case it was expected that the criminals would get what they deserved, so why does he have to burst out like a criminal himself ? It does not refect well on his profession since people would wonder whether they have any ethics or does it get clouded by personal feelings ?

True...that shows all the other lawyers too in poor light. And if we put all the biases or prejudices aside, it still needs be remembered that winning or losing is a part of the profession and in this case, the there were glaring evidences against the accused so why such an outburst? I also wonder what his own wife and children might be thinking of this?

My experience with some of lawyers has been very frustrating and they do every thing to be in poor light and deservedly so! They are so immoral that they resort to all kinds of malpractices to fleece their clients by thoroughly exploiting the loopholes of our legal system. By striking a deal with opponents' lawyers they flagrantly violate the professional ethics to the detriment of their clients. The conduct of lawyers must come under the scanner in any exercise of comprehensive judicial reforms. But the question, who would undertake such an exercise?

She can talk with family members but not with outsiders but they treat women very badly on slightest of deviation from fixed rules for them. In fact they want their ladies to do according to their wishes. they can even offer them to Jehadis in the name of self made rules called fatawas.

The very thought of those women living with such people makes me scary. Women are pretty much restricted and have to live that way in their views. I think in a certain country in the Middle East women aren't allowed to drive even.
