Actually AAP success is not really thumping. In fact, BJP is largest party in the Delhi Union territory and is short of four seats for clear majority. Congress is poor third and gave support to AAP even withot asking. This support is just to ensure that BJP does not get limelight. Congress is seeing an opportunity even in success of AAP. Congress hopes that AAP will spoil the game plan of BJP in many parliamentary constituencies.

No doubt AAP is just one year old and the success is commendable. But Kejriwal was very much in lime light during Anna movement. This helped him. He has fulfilled some promises immediately. The ministers and officers will not use red lights on their vehicles. But the real issue is fulfilling the promises of delivering free of charge 700 liters water to every household, halving electricity charges, providing pucca houses to slum dwellers, making Delhi safe for women etc. In case, the AAP government does not fulfill the promises within reasonable period, people may get frustrated with all consequences. Kejriwal had promised that he would fulfuill all the promises within three months of taking charge. But now he says that he has no magic wand. Let us wait and see.

The problems are so deep rooted, Its an uphill task for Kejriwal to stand by his word, because as he pointed rightly, he has no Magic wand. Anyhow, we the onlookers have no other option except wait and watch.

It is a case of unrealistic promises with face off alliance with Congress, let us see what is the future, there are other leaders who have taken oath of office in front of large gatherings, nothing new to it,

In fact, nothing is so new. The CMs of Goa, Pudducherry, Tripura and West Bengal are even more simple. The Pudducherry C.M. uses his motor cycle to go to office. The Tripura C.M. goes on foot to buy vegetables and his wife moves in Rikshaw. But Delhi is capital of India and so what happens in delhi gets big publicity in and out of India. Still the fact remains that AAP and the leaderm Kejriwal have stolen lime light and aroused aspirations of people. Even if some of their promises are difficult to implement, people will appreciate if they can do even half of what they promised.

Of course, there is nothing new to it. But, an insignificant, nondescript entity coming from nowhere and holding the collars of the bigwigs and established players is new. more than new. Which is why people are looking towards AAP with hope and expectations.
Yes this is very important day for Arvind Kejriwal. He has finally achieved his target. His becoming CM of Delhi will be remembered by all as his party was never expected to win the election.

True. He won the elections. But that's not the full story. The real story starts now. He has to direct all his endeavors to fulfill his promises.
