I was going through recent surveys about crimes in different states and the results were somewhat shocking-
Statistics from National Crime Records Bureau's Crime in India 2012 report plotted on a map of India to highlight which Indian states have the highest rate of crime against women. According to the statistics, Nagaland is the safest state in India for women, while its neighbor Assam is the most unsafe. Here is a map

It's a comprehensive report giving a picture of safety of women in different places. What about political killings ? Where they are rampant.?Which state or which place is sans political killings?

This is truly shame on behalf of us. This incident has once again proved that India is not at all a safe place for any woman to live in. Moreover it is very difficult for her to progress and develop amongst men in the competitive field.

Even foreign tourists were subjected rape and violence. Owing to this reason, many foreign countries are cautioning their citizens to be careful while they are on a tour in India.
