    Yes exercising franchise is the duty of a responsible citizen. Though the link addressed to only women, it's a must to get registered as a voter for all.

    Manually, as EC announced, on March, 9 India wide, every voter can check his name at the area where he already cast his/her vote, I think I should be checking, as last December, on local body election my name shifted from one sector to the other, this time it is better to check this out.

    These guidelines are no doubt very specific and clear but all the problems related to getting one registered as a voter lies occurs due to the people who work in these offices. In spite of giving everything properly, the forms, photos, IDs etc. you voter card is always full of errors and even ones that come after corrected happen to have new errors! :blink:

    I have filled an online form to get my voter ID. After filling the form a government officer would come to my house with the form and would check my ID proofs.

    I am a registered voter but will not be able to vote for the first time in my entire life. The voting is on 10th April and I'll not be there.
