I have seen this doodle aimed at creating an awareness towards "securing a healthy future for themselves and their children".
Google Doodles are not only artistic marvels, but also useful with content.

Being the member of this "Vasudaiva Kutumbakam" the least we can do is planting a sapling in our court yard to do our bit.

Best wishes of 44th Earth Day. As mentioned, we should try our best to make our healthy future secure and for this if we spend even 5 minutes of a day, lots of improvement can be seen in this aspect.

Another brilliant presentation from Google, Doodles always give symbolic view and it produces awareness to save earth the planet we live as if we do not save earth for this day, be ware still to date there is no other planet, which can give atmosphere to similar to earth.

Yes I too noticed it in today morning when I opened google...Also another feature is their greetings with candles and cake on your birthday ! If you place the cursor on the image you see written personal birthday greetings ...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

.Yes. This is how Google has become the darling of the crowds all over the world. The personal B'Day wishes are also a unique feature in vogue since long. The Search engine giant never ignores or forgets achievements of individuals or historical events. Ustad Bismalla Khan's Google Doodle was simply mesmerizing.Similarly Mother Teresa's.
Now Google has second Doddle related with Happy Earth Day! I am searching ways to download these Doddles apart from recording manually. Still no resources about GIFs from Google. :silly: :silly:

It is imperative that we become serious about natural resources but what is equally important is to change some things that we take for granted. For example, people now talk about rainwater harvesting, saving water etc. but are reluctant to change their ways. Also, whoever owns a bungalow or a house with open land surrounding should make it a point to leave the ground open and not cover it all up with concrete or tiles. Recently, I read in an article where it was said that such practice of covering open and parking spaces with concrete leads to rainwater wasting away in gutters, thus depleting natural water tables severely. This is a much much serious threat to rain cycle than any of us realize! So along with harvesting rainwater for daily usage, it is equally important to let the ground soak up the rains in a natural manner!

Totally agree with your views ! Rainwater harvesting is not at all difficult to implement since I have seen a few places where it has done wonders not just for the person but for the entire area. It is a one time investment, that too affordable and once implemented it is a life time benefit for such a large area.It is the best one can do for environment since we are showing respect for natures greatest gift to us - water , by preserving and conserving it.

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
