There was a huge controversy over the issue of Robert Vadra being given a special status ( simply because he is married to Priyanka Gandhi ) in airports where he was exempt from frisking like lesser mortals like us. Now the government is all set to amend the list and many ore VVIPs will have to que up like us and hopefully go through the process of being frisked at airport security ..

    Actually this facility should be limited to people in top positions only like President and Prime Minister. All others including foreign delegates should go through either green channel if nothing to declare or through normal routine. That will reduce some of the over superiority complex they suffer with. There are hundreds and thousands Vadras and he is certainly not the only one enjoying such facilities. people having slightest of power influence government employees and take many advantages eligible or not eligible.

Many of the mighty will take a tumble down and land on the ground like us lesser mortals! :evil: :evil: This facility should only be to a limited few and everyone else should be made to comply with the security measures! Especially the relatives and sycophants of politicians and other celebrities should be stripped of such privileges.

    Relatives and sycophants are the integral part of the coterie. For them lot of law distortion and mutilation took place in the earlier government. Anyhow the new government made a grand move.

    As of now other than PM, President,Opposition leader,Supreme court judge, army chief and ll states get this facility of sailing through the security check or rather going through a different gate altogether into their VIP lounge.I too feel that Modi shd take steps to make the leaders more accuntable and walk on the ground like ordinary people rather than have their noses up in the air..they seem to forget that it is we people who have put them there in the first place :angry:

    Yes. Its high time to cancel these Z category protection to the VIPs. In AP an opposition Leader who is charged with money laundering cases by the CBI has been provided Z category protection. This nonsense should be stopped by the Modi government.
