I saw this in the news. And why not when total population of both the countries is equal to one third population of the world.

This is not connected with the population at all. The Forbes magazine described this photo as a symbol of union of two mighty countries . It also symbolizes the enigma of Modi. The link article vividly explained it.

No doubt it's not about population. China is super power and India is emerging as a strong country in recent years.

True. It was mentioned  in the link by no less than a famous Magazine Forbes. The article has given more interesting things like How the Chinese people reacted on this Selfie.

Not only him. I have seen in the news thta Mr. PM was also taking selfies with school students at school..He was looking really happy at that time.

Yes. These intricacies will be known only if the member goes through the link article. I have seen many people respond without going through the article given.

Yes I didn't read the article as saw it on TV where Chinese students performed yoga and kung fu together then Mr Modi took selfie with the students and then with Chinese PM in front of Buddha temple. 

But reading the link article helps in knowing more interesting things.

I read it now I found only thing that owner of Facebook liked the selfie himself on Facebook with in 6 hours of posting.:-)
