    Good to know the new heights being scaled by ISRO. Feeling proud. Hope this continues. Recently i also read that ISRO has plans to send a mission to the Sun as well. Wishing the very best for ISRO.

    The Special feature in this Scram Jet is it burns fuel just by using atmospheric Oxygen. It brings down the amount of Oxidiser that needs to be carried along with the fuel.. A great achievement indeed.

    however it requires many more test before it becomes operational which could be some years away. But ISRO is in right direction.

    ISRO is one such field in which India is self sufficient. The Scramjet Rocket engine. The engine burns fuel just by using atmospheric Oxygen, which is considered as a unique achievement.  This was done by only three two other Countries earlier.
