Pranoy Roy under suspicion of syphoning off of NDTV funds to his personal account

Its such a shame that a highly acclaimed journalist is involved in siphoning funds like that. Being in media, one would expect people like him to speak against the wrong doing and not be a part of it.

IT department has discovered Prannoy Roy's fraud in June 2016. accordingly, it has informed the details with the Enforcement Directorate. An amount of  Rs. 53,84, 60, 960 was shifted through a cheque to Prannoy Raoy's account. NDTV shareholders were taken for a ride.I am not sure how and when Pronny Ray will be  put to task. .Hope economic offenders like Prannoy Roy are booked.

Now, what the Congress party, PrannoyRoy's favorite, that says Modi and BJP are the Centers of Corruption  has to say.

Media has been a tool on the hands of the politicians since the time India got its Independence. But, with more awareness and freedom one can expects the media to have a fair and unbiased view . However, this charge shows that some are as bad as the politicians, looking after their interest rather than being responsible journalists.

Good to know that these things are coming out. Looks like no one is free from corruption and wealth amassing. Need to be seen how these media people who are so good in twisting and turning things react when it comes to their own news.

A Responsible Journalist is supposed to be impartial, without taking sides. In a bid to support the party,with which, they have affiliations and with greed to amass money,  is definitely uncalled for. It should be condemned.

It is possible that next, accounts of Bharkha Dutt  and Ravish Kumar might be under scrutiny. 

If there is proof like in Pranoy Roy's case I am sure Barkha Dutt, Ravish and others will ave to face the music unlike in the past when everybody got away with everything!

Why only Barkha and Raveesh- maybe Brinda Karat and Radhika Roy will make better target.

There are plenty of them from all political parties and from the media who have made merry while the going was good ...So now it is action/reaction time hopefully !
