The Kashmiri students are found everywhere with a great number of them studying and staying here andain Manipal as well. They are given generous funding by the Central govt. Many of them ecognize this fact and reciprocate the gesture by contributing positively , however there are a few that are totally anti national. We had an incident here where a few such students were taught a lesson by the locals when they put up Pakistani flags and made the rented house they were staying in, into a kind of terror den where a lot of illegal activities went on. But the police refused to take action on the instructions of the local Congress MLA who himself is a Keralite Muslim who poses as a great secular but deep down is as dangerous as any of the terrorists..

I feel that abolishing the two legal hassles will go a long way in normalising the atmosphere in Kashmir .

Less or more anti national is every where in country. Kanhiylal is one of them. In Punjab we can see much more anti national. All nation is in favor of abolishing these two sections. Yesterday Kashmir had only 12. 48% voting. Situation is not good one.

From what I gather it is easier to remove article 35a than article 370 and Mehbooba Mufti may be right in what she said ...going through this article would give us an insight as to how Nehru messed up the whole process of merger of J and K with India..

That's right, there are too many laws and bylaws which will come in the way for removing 35a or 370. Although the government could have done it back in 1955 when senior Abdullah was sent to jail. Nehru did more harm to this country than we can think about.

1955 is a history. No benefit in talking about all these. It is time to think how government can abolish these sections. As Amit Shah said that if we have mojority in Rajaya Sabha we will amend the constitution.

If we have to keep Kashmir with us then we shall have to show a strong willpower and do it without thinking about reaction coming from separatists and pro-Pakistani elements. The best way is to allot ex-army persons a freehold land along the bordering areas of Kashmir/LOC/International border and gradually allow all citizens of India to go and buy land/settle without any restriction including business which they cannot do in their own name as of now.

Absolutely, they have to revoke article 35a and then take control of the valley and whoever opposes should be put in their place either be a part of India or leave ...army will have a major role to play !

money is much power full. When all citizen of India allow to settle in J&K , they will invest there and they will also provide employment. Money will come in the pocket of Kashmiri and they will forgot all about past. They will enjoy better life.
