    Yes Chinmoy, quality seems to be the lowermost item on everyones agenda nowadays, at least in the govt. There was a recent study carried out in some govt-run rural schools and it was found that students of 7th std could not even read a single sentence in English let alon write. To a lesser extent same was the case for marathi langauge which happens to be mother tongue of majority of students.
