BJP leader L.K. Advani has expressed hope that Dalai lama can go to China. Dalai Lama is a Tibetan and chine government does not consider him as a non Chinese. Hence, there should be no difficulty for him to return to china. Nobody has banished him from there.

I don't think it would be possible for Dalai Lama to get back to Tibet in the present situation and Mr.Advani's logic is too simplistic!
Tibet is well recognized as part of china by the entire international community. Dalai Lama also does not deny that Tibet is part of china. So, there should be attempts to reconcile and circumstances be created for Dalai lama and other Tibetans to return to their motherland. efforts in right direction may make this possible. Tibetans living as refugees for uncertain period is not desirable.

Refugee life is really a hell in the earth. All refugees should be allowed back in their respective countries.

I agree Abid. It appears that neither Govt. of India nor the Tibetan refugees are interested in returning to home land. If Dalai lama and his disciples wish to make India their permanent home, they must cut ties with Tibet and get Indian citizenship. Living in India while retaining Tibetan or Chinese identity cannot go for ever. A dialogue between Dalai Lama, China and Indian Government may sort out the issue.
