    I have not read bible. Moreover I don't think that Christians have good family relations despite their faith in Bible. Why should be so many divorces in U.S.A. and other European countries despite faith in bible.

    Biblical teachings are simple ,but like every religion,the very own people fail to understand the depth.
    To practice what is written is probably the ultimate test,preaching on the other hand is very easy.

    Bible empowers husband to discipline wife and children by spanking. For this, just search 'domestic discipline' and you will find the Christian value on family relations. The proverb: spare the rod spoil the child is well known. It is also given in Bible that one who does not beat his child does not love him. Same is true about wife. I shall give the link later after searching on Google.

    As promised, here is the link. careful reading will clearly show that women are given a low status as subservient to her husband. The husband has a right to discipline his wife and children.

    Indian Christians are generally converted from Hindu. They still follow Hindu customs and values even though going to Church. Hence, they have good family relations.
