    I believe all pills which are artificially controlling hormones(secretion) will have side effects.

    Fear is inbuilt. If you are height, there is danger to injure yourself badly by falling to the ground. Such dangers are also associated with deep water, poisonous and wild animals. This is psychological issue. Use of pills may give adverse side affects. Some people fear more than others. But this is natural and nature's way of securing your safety. I'm also scared of heights and so more careful while peeping from above.
