    One can not learn technical subjects which need so many clarification and guidance without an instructor.


    Yes technical subjects definitely needs a teacher like in engineering we used to learn Engineering Drawing which one cannot learn by himself one needs teacher to teach it. :)

    Not only in engineering but most of the subjects if taught by able teachers should bring best results. But 'Chalta hai attitude' has marred the basics of study.

    I am lucky that way, I do not have to study these days. Besides I did go to best of them. Allahabad and Bangalore.

    In Delhi i studied in one of the best school so the teachers were well qualified but in college some of the teachers were not good they knew little about the subject so we had to do more self study in those subjects. :)

    self study and tough study, both are important for a student. Because our study need both kinds of study

    Some times one feels lost even in real life while there is no one around to guide him. A teacher is must for proper guidance.


    There is another aspect. With self study you may get an answer after spending more time and efforts. A teacher will clear the doubt immediately. So, teacher is important.

    I think that the correct spelling is 'taught' and not 'tought'.

    I think both are equally important because without self study we can't achieve success and vice-versa without the guidance of teachers we can't succeeded.

    Yes it depends on the situation when someone study a new topic he/she may need someone's guidance otherwise self study is enough till he/she faces a problem in it. :)
