Ram on 25th September Declaration for Independence was adopted by the Republic of Macedonia even though they celebrate their independence on 8th September.

Abid... you are lucky!

NOt one but two countries celebrate their independence on August 6th :)

One is Bolivia ( from Spain in 1825)
Another one is Jamaica (from the United Kingdom in 1962.)

Sandhya, the purpose I created this thread was to know the birthdays of our Boddunan members as well as learn a little General Knowledge about Independence of different states.

I am sad that I cannot include Kalyani's and Chinmoyji's Birth dates as no Country celebrates their independence on their birth dates :(

Sandhya, the purpose I created this thread was to know the birthdays of our Boddunan members as well as learn a little General Knowledge about Independence of different states.

I am sad that I cannot include Kalyani's and Chinmoyji's Birth dates as no Country celebrates their independence on their birth dates :(

Can you tell me Date of birth of Chinmayjee please? I want to surprise him too, like something happened day before yesterday :)
