Kerala has the blessings of western ghats and ever green forests. Perhaps it may be the reason why we don't have water problems due to frequent rains. Water is abundant in rivers and streams. Yet the place now where I am residing, after a particular depth it's rock. So, even if it's just near paddy fields, well touches its bottom at summer season...yet we have it for our necessities

Ya that's right water problem is spreading all over the country and in my house 2 or 3 days water not come......
Now there is a chance of purchasing water from other countries as other countries purchase from us

Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

Ya that thing may be happened but if they purchase it they provide us in high rate also.......
It's the need of the hour as we are very fast moving to a very scary water crisis in the country. Our reckless attitude and in nits use has given rise to this scenario. We already have several water disputes involving states. In a situation all efforts should be made to conserve and preserve this invaluable resource!

Unless a mass awareness programme is launched involving all stake-holders,agitation and chest-beating won't be of any help!
Then that area does not get water from that place........
Nothing has helped...even if a lot of campaigns, national awareness programs, wide support by media....a lot of agitations.....nothing proved worth for building a new dam.....Yes, people of Kerala are in great danger!!
