    Kalyani this is excellent information :) so with windows 7 you get a built in voice recognition system, must check it out ...

    Yes, you get it but it is not as good as compared with the paid options.


    My team uses Dragon Speaking Naturally and it is well worth the price. But do remember that with any 'Voice-to-text recognition' software, you would have to give it a month or two before it can understand you properly and you have to keep making changes.


    I don't use it much as I write less these days but my team says it is a life saver for them. Especially newbies, as most of them first write on paper and having the software saves them the trouble of writing it again.

    No issues. I learnt the same way, "Trial and Error".

    Anyways, if you want to use Dragon Speaking Naturally you can use my license. But do let me know a few days in advance as that file runs in GBs. Would take me days to upload it.
